New Features
1. Replacement Credit Enhancement – Supports Application for Custom Hours (Exceed Hours in a Full Day)
TimeTec Leave has a feature which allows users to apply for Replacement Credit if they work on their off days. Once the user’s application is approved by their manager, a Replacement Leave balance will be allocated. Users can then apply for replacement leave in the system through the usual leave application procedures.

When Admins first enable Replacement Credit settings, they can choose either to accept applications for ‘Full Day’, ‘Partial Day’ or both ‘Full and Partial Day’. However, for Partial Day applications, the maximum time allowed is restricted by the ‘Hours in a Full Day’ configured at System Settings. If the standard work hours have been set to 8 hours, users are not allowed to apply beyond 8 hours.

In June, we enhanced the Replacement Credit function by adding a ‘Custom Hours’ option. Users can now apply for custom hours (e.g., more than 8 hours) and the system will display the total hours applied by users on the Approval page.

Refer to the sample screenshots below for further details:

2. Leave Audit Trail Enhancement - Message for Next Year Leave Balance Deduction
In TimeTec Leave, there is a setting for “Allow new calendar year request” in System Settings. Depending on the option chosen by Admin, staff can request leave that takes place in the next calendar year (e.g., apply for the Year 2023 in the Year 2022) and the system will deduct the approved leave from either the current (2022) or next year’s (2023) leave balance. Alternatively, the setting could also be configured to prohibit employees from applying for leave for the next calendar year.

This June, we have enhanced the Audit Trail for leave balances to inform Admins that the approved leave has been deducted from next year’s leave balance.

a. User Leave Setting > Balance > Audit Trail
b. Audit Trail > Next Calendar Year (2023) - Shows Leave Date Taken Which Deducts Next Year Balance
